Reunion Canceled

Coming on the heals of the Washington Fair cancelation and The Good Guys car rally in Puyallup, we regretfully announce our 45th reunion cancelation. We will not be rescheduling at this time.

Because a reunion takes a great deal of time, energy and effort we have decided to focus on the 50th and make it the best it possibly can be.

50th Plans
Planning has already begun around locating a venue and creating budget. We would like this to happen during the PHS Alumni Assembly as we will take the floor and want as many classmates as we can to be able to attend.  The alumni assembly traditionally happens mid-December.

Venue Planning
Two local venues that could accommodate our large class and be fully accessible are The Pioneer Pavilion and Farm 12. To secure either of these two venues, we need to do so late 2023 or early 2024. We are open to other suggestions as well.

Our Committee
Our committee has done an incredible amount of fundraising up until COVID19. Bill Raymer donated over 200 lbs of roasted coffee from his farm that we sold to family and friends at the alumni assembly, we also took delivery orders over the holidays. Karen Barker made baskets to be raffled off for the alumni assembly. Many of us donated art, photography, candles, scarves, PHS memorabilia, table decor, balloons, and now many of us have offered to donate our own personal registrations in order to help offset the cost of securing a venue for our 50th.

Your Help with Funds is Needed
Currently we have close to $1000 including our deposit refund from Charlies and our fundraising earmarked for the 50th. Our goal is $3000. We anticipate some folks will be asking for their 45th registration to be refunded so here is where we can use your help for a rather creative opportunity.

Your Donation
May we ask you to donate your registration to go towards securing our venue for the 50th? If you have paid, you might consider donating it entirely or a portion or gifting more if you can afford it.
No other class has had to do this as there has been no other time in our lifetime such as this.
Right now we simply must be creative on how we fundraise, in order to secure our venue and help others to attend by being as
inclusive as we can.

Thank You
We understand at this time, many of us are taking on extra tasks and financial burden by helping our family more.  Some of us have lost jobs as we approached retirement or we are watching grandkids more. If we are lucky enough to still have our parents, well, we have that too.

With your donation, we can make a positive impact on each other instead of reflecting on all that could be better.

Finally, we sincerely hope you wellness, health and a positive spirit throughout the end of the year and into next. Remember, your classmates are your lifetime friends. We are here to help each other in times of need as well as prosperity.

We ARE, the greatest class alive, victory rules for '75.

You should be receiving an email or phone call from us soon if you paid your registration. If not, please reach out and contact any one of us on the committee.

Sincerely,
Your Class of 1975 Reunion Committee
