Fifty years ago, we were just a group of teenagers navigating the halls of Puyallup High School, making lifelong friendships, and chasing our dreams. We spent countless hours together at Friday night football games, shouting cheers for our team, our hearts swelling with school pride. Whether it was the friendly competition with our cross-town counterparts or the intense energy surrounding big games, those rivalries were a vital part of the Puyallup experience. We may have been fierce competitors, but we’ve all come to appreciate the way those rivalries helped shape us Vikings into the people we are today.
