New Year’s Day 2026: Still Here, Still Us
New Year’s Day always feels quieter than the days that lead up to it. The confetti has settled, the noise has faded, and what’s left is space—space to reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re going.
As the Class of 1975, we’ve shared a long road together. From lockers and late bells to first jobs, families, careers, adventures, losses, reinventions, and retirements—or near-retirements—we’ve lived through decades of change none of us could have imagined back when bell bottoms and yearbooks ruled our world.
And yet, here we are.
Still connected.
Still curious.
Still showing up.
Each new year now feels a little more meaningful. We understand time differently than we did at 18. We know how precious health is. We know friendships don’t need daily contact to stay strong. We know laughter is medicine, memories are treasures, and showing up for one another matters more than ever.
2026 doesn’t need to be about big resolutions or reinvention. Maybe it’s about intention instead:
Staying in touch a little more
Saying yes to reunions, lunches, walks, and conversations
Sharing stories while we can still add new chapters
Giving ourselves grace and celebrating how far we’ve come
We’ve earned the right to move through this year with wisdom, humor, and heart. We’ve weathered storms, adapted to change, and carried the spirit of our class forward—sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly, but always authentically.
So here’s to another year together.
To familiar names and faces.
To memories that still make us laugh.
To friendships that have stood the test of time.
Happy New Year, Class of 1975.
Let’s keep writing this story—together.
