Important July Email News

 Hi Classmates,

As of June, 2022, our OLD email subscription delivery service provided by Feedburner has been discontinued. You know there is magic to how email gets delivered, right?

The good news is our NEW email subscription delivery service using MailChimp has started. We have worked hard at getting all our classmates emails loaded into the system so you stay up to date with class related news.

We need your help!

Think of this service as your newspaper boy/girl carrier. The newspaper carrier has noticed you haven't picked up your newspaper from your driveway for many weeks and the papers are piling up.

In other words, we have 54 classmates who haven't picked up their papers or "emails" for weeks and you could be one of them. Yikes! You're missing all the fun!

Instead of going out to your driveway and collecting the missed papers, we kindly ask you to go to your emails, go back and look at your spam or junk emails for a July 3, 2022, Happy 4th of July email.

What to do next...

SAW EMAIL and MOST IMPORTANTLY OPENED it, great, you can stop reading here. Your delivery service is solved!

MISSED EMAIL open your spam or junk folder, scroll back to July 3, 2022, open the email and add that email to your contact list.Teachalisa@gmail.com. aka Lisa Hess.

Hopefully Helpful FAQ

Q: Will this Puyallup High School Class of '75 blog continue?

A: Yes, if you subscribe at the box at the top. Email subscriptions are an easy way to deliver recent updates from the blog. The blog will continue as it has been, but subscribing your email will save you time by avoiding continually checking the blog for updates.

Q: Why are we doing this?

A: The old service was not as reliable and private, so it was discontinued by google due to privacy issues. The new email subscription service is more streamlined and protects your privacy.

Q: I'm getting two emails, why?

A: You can unsubscribe to the OLD "Feedburner" to quit or opt-out at any time if you continue to get multiple emails. If you unsubscribe from the new one, I will send you follow up to make sure you would like to unsubscribe. We promise to never spam or share your personal information. Also, this is our primary way of keeping you informed.

Q: Why not use Facebook and Instagram?

A: It is not private and many classmates are not on Facebook or Instagram. We will not be using Facebook and Instagram as our primary communication. We will also not be using the USPS because of costs.

Q: I am unsure what to do. Can you help?

A: Simply type your email in the white box at the top of the blog page here and you will be automatically subscribed. If you think you already are on the email list it doesn't hurt to type it again, you will not get multiple emails. If you have any questions please email me at Teachalisa@gmail.com or call me at 253-219-8113.

Grateful as We Remember Our Friends

Each Memorial Day, I become ever more grateful for knowing those who are no longer here. I am grateful for the men and women who have served our country and have allowed me to live a better life than they were given. I am grateful to have had loving grandparents who lived next door, who are no longer here. Finally, I am grateful for the relationships I had with friends who are now gone.

Sadly, our Puyallup High School Class of 1975 Remembrance page grows with each passing year. In the past I know many of you have prioritized the importance of relationships with friends and make the time to connect with one another as time slips away. I am right to say, we have friends who make us feel time stands still when you get together and you just pick up where you left off like it was yesterday.

We hope this holiday you find time to reflect on relationships, those that have passed and those remaining that have given you a better life, shaped your life or have made you laugh and cry.

Exciting Survey Results and The Reunion Reveal Date

 Dear Classmates,
Our committee met last evening. We were excited and completely "blown away" by the recent survey results.
Our class has spoken loud and clear. With 90 classmates responding to the survey, the theme repeated over and over was, "It's our Class of 1975 community that matters most to us."

The following survey facts will help guide our decisions every step of the way...
FACT #1 Close to 98% of you would likely attend the 2025 Puyallup High School Class of '75 50th Reunion.

An even more mind blowing survey fact...
FACT #2 Over 95% of you asked how you can financially help as many classmates as possible attend our 50th Reunion with a gift donation.

We've got this...
FACT #3 Your committee will get your friends there.

Today we ask you to follow through with your generosity pledge and make your donation. Not only will this be the best reunion ever, you will help our fellow classmates by bringing the cost of the reunion down. Your non tax deductible donation can be made anonymous or public by PayPal or Credit Card through,
(Be advised of the tip they try to charge)

Your check is also welcome.
Please make payable to:
PHS Class of '75
Then mail to:

Hop Into Spring and Take the Survey

Happy Spring!

Dear Classmates,

April is full of new beginnings and we are excited to announce your Class of '75 Reunion Committee will soon start the planning stages of the BIG 50! As with our past reunions, our goal is to include as many classmates as possible. Most importantly, we really want to hear from you, our classmates! What are your expectations, wishes and needs? What worked or didn’t work the last time around.

If we could ask you to do a brief check-in survey today so we can begin thinking ahead what our next steps should be that would be great. As you take the survey you’ll also learn what we are proposing as well.

Thank you in advance and best wishes with family and friends wherever the upcoming holiday may take you hopping.
